The future of Montessori
teacher education starts now

Founded in 2006, The Center for Guided Montessori Studies (CGMS) offers a very comprehensive Early Childhood online learning course which incorporates cutting edge web-based and video technologies to provide quality training at a distance.

The course includes a full year practicum experience at a school that meets CGMS standards for authenticity; with both supervising teachers and heads who have been screened and oriented to understand their responsibilities toward our interns. We also provide our online materials to training programs that wish to supplement face-to-face weekend seminars with a distance learning component.

CGMS courses will be accredited under the emerging International Montessori Council (IMC) guidelines. These new IMC guidelines will mandate hours that exceed MACTE standards.
